Cestovanie. Za posledných 30 rokov sa stalo základnou, dennou súčasťou našich životov. Cestujeme za prácou, cestujeme pre radosť, cestujeme za rodinou. Poďme však spoločne odcestovať späť, do minulosti, v ktorej sa z cestovania už nedá vrátiť. Do minulosti, v ktorej sa cestuje navždy.
Aké ťažké je spraviť rozhodnutie navždy? Aké ťažké je opustiť všetkých a všetko bez cesty späť? Aké je cestovať tajne a v neistote z úspechu cesty a následkov, ktoré môžu byť aj fatálne? Je v poriadku ohroziť svojím odchodom ľudí, ktorí zostávajú?
Pri príležitosti 30. výročia Nežnej revolúcie spoločne pocestujeme do minulosti a pozrieme sa na príbehy cesty za železnú oponu, na cestovanie bez návratu – emigráciu z Československa. Touto cestou plnou nástrah nás budú sprevádzať emigrantky a emigranti, ktorí si cestu za železnú oponu zažili na vlastnej koži.
Hostia budú predstavení postupne.
Pre ľudí z iných krajín je často ťažké si zvyknúť na nové mesto, kultúru či dokonca jazyk. Preto sa v Mareene snažíme vybudovať priestor pre ľudí zo zahraničia a ľudí zo Slovenska, kde budú môcť vzájomne objavovať svoje kultúry a hľadať v nich to najlepšie. Tentokrát sa budeme venovať téme emigrácie.
*Dobrovoľné vstupné je 3€. (Vyzbierané prostriedky budú použité na pokrytie nákladov a realizáciu podujatí tohto typu v budúcnosti.)

Travelling. Throughout the last 30 years, travelling became a fundamental, everyday part of our lives. We travel for work, travel for joy, travel for family. However, let's travel together into the past, from where there is no coming back. Into the past, where travelling means forever.
How hard is it to make a forever decision? How hard is it to leave everyone and everything without a way back? What is it like to travel secretly and uncertain of the success of your journey and its consequences that can be even fatal? Is it alright to endanger the people who are staying by your escape?
On the occasion of 30th anniversary of the Velvet Revolution, we will travel together into the past and get to know the stories of travelling behind the Iron Curtain, the stories of travelling with no going back - emigration from Czechoslovakia. On this journey full of traps, our guides will be the emigrants, who have survived these journey on their own.
Guests will be released continually.
It can be hard to adjust to a whole new city, culture, and even language. Therefore, in Mareena, we are trying to help build a place for internationals and locals where they can share their cultures and discover the best of them together. This time we will come closer to the topic of emigration.
*The voluntary entrance contribution is 3€. (The money raised will be used to cover the expenses and to support future activities of this kind.)
